I've been photographing Mr. Nash for four years now, and he is always such an easy model to work with. And he's about to have a new little sibling, so I can't wait to start over with that kiddo too!
The day of his session, it was pretty chilly and the wind was crazy!! I texted his mom to see if she wanted to reschedule because I didn't want the wind to cause his eyes to squint or make him uncomfortable. But Nash would have nothing of it. He wanted to do the session, and he was pumped. His mom sent me a photo of him in the car before the session, looking handsome and super excited. And he did AWESOME! We cut the session short at about 20 minutes because he was pretty cold, but it didn't matter because he did such a great job that we had plenty of wonderful images to work with. I love working with this little guy, and I feel very blessed to be invited to document his growth over these four years.

Nash is a kid who is easy to have a photo session with because he knows how to project in front of the camera. As a photographer, it's a huge bonus if your subject already knows how to smile in front of the camera. It lessens the actual time of working because you don't need to direct everything because your subject already knows what he wants to see in his photo. At the same time, Nash looks really happy while having the pictorial. It definitely reflects on his photos.
