I can't even remember how many years I've been photographing this family now, but definitely since their oldest was just a little guy. They are old pros at the photo session now, which is a good thing considering we barely beat a nasty storm! When they arrived, they were the second to last mini session of the evening, and there was a storm brewing. We rushed quickly through the session, but they are so terrific that it took no time at all to get great smiles and poses. On the way back to the car, it started pouring down rain and the wind picked up. You'd never tell they were rushed from their faces though!

This is my second time photographing this family, and it was once again awesome! It's so much easier to photograph older children than little people that give me my exercise. Ha! Both are wonderful in their own right, though. It's so fun to watch the interaction of older children, especially this family. They have a tight-knit bond that is enviable and actually asked me if they could take photos with each other. Plus, they are fantastic models!
These two were my first clients when I took their maternity photos, and there is little else that creates more joy as a photographer than to watch a family grow over the years. From those winter maternity photos years ago, I've enjoyed capturing them with their 3 handsome little boys. They are always great friends to photograph, super photogenic and fun. They are raising these sweet boys so well, and I just know they'll become wonderful men someday because of their amazing parents.
