My sister-in-law and I are super close, partially because she's awesome, and partially because we were pregnant with our little girls together. I dreamed of how our daughters would grow up together being so close. They were due only 1 day apart and were born a few weeks apart, so they are super close in age. But time went on, and they would only grab each other's faces or hair and then move on to playing by themselves. Until the other day. The babies, each being pretty new to standing and walking, stood together, hugged as hard as they could and then fell down laughing. They began giggling and belly laughing at each other, and it brought so much absolute joy to my mommy/auntie heart. What sweetness is found in this moment! I long for many more moments like this between them and that their love for each other would only grow over time. As a side note, I'm super jealous of my brother's home. Just look at this gorgeous light streaming in! I just do not get this kind of light in my home. And those babies are so smart, they sat right in the best part of it, in the light just inside the shadows.
This image brings me happiness. I hope it brings happiness to others. A few people have commented to me, "It makes me want to call up my best girlfriend and just laugh and laugh." And I hope you do. I'm submitting this for February's Rock the Shot Forum theme "Friendship." You've got until midnight to submit your friendship photo. Just go to: www.rocktheshotforum.com

Last day of low light. Playing on the piano again from the pack and play. Wish I could have gotten the detail of the piano, but it was all I could do to get her face illuminated with enough light as the sun was setting rapidly. Love that little face.
