Brittany & Jake are a fantastic couple that I met through their wedding planner Casie at SC Eventhouse, & they are ENGAGED! We had a wonderful (albeit chilly) photo shoot yesterday. They were spot on for everything I asked them to do, even the things they weren't so sure about, like acting like a creepy guy in the field (photos on that later). I've chosen some photos from our 1st location at Hyde Brothers, who were so kind to let us do the shoot in their store (it's a wonderful bookstore...the type where a cat meanders through the aisles & sliding ladders lean against the shelves). Yesterday I met an awesome senior named Kiah, & I was so excited because he wanted some urban pictures...FINALLY! Everybody's been wanting outdoor/fall leaves kinds of photos, but not this guy. :-) Not that I don't like the fall outdoor pictures. I think they're gorgeous! But it's fun to change it up once in a while, you know? 
I love the thought of using the gift of photography that God has blessed me with to help others. I am happy to say that I have been asked to volunteer as one of the photographers at the SPCA Cat Walk on November 6th. This is going to be an amazing event to benefit the Allen County SPCA through a high energy competition between talented salon stylists from throughout the community.
