Good Night. Sleep Tight.

Most days, my little cutie pie jumps out of bed with a burst of energy as soon as her eyes pop open. When she was still in her nursery, she would run to the door and yell for us to come get her. Now that she's in her big girl bedroom (and a comfy queen size bed instead of a toddler bed with a hard crib mattress), she takes a while to wake up. Sometimes she gets out of bed, plays for a few minutes, then climbs back in to rest.

One morning recently, recovering from a stomach bug of some sort from a couple of nights prior, she laid in bed for a half hour before I finally decided to come get her and bring her downstairs. It's rare that I'd get pictures of her still relaxing in bed, so I brought my camera up with me to capture her sweet little sleepy bed head.

When I photograph her, I often take several minutes of photos from different angles in the hopes of creating a story, but in the end I rarely find the time to edit them all and put them together. I'm so proud and thrilled that I've done this one because I just love how they turned out and captured exactly the sweet moments that I happened to catch that morning.
