Project 366: Days 71-77

71.366 Daddy gave you an old watch that he had lying around, and you walked around with the watch, sometimes just staring at it, sometimes slipping it over your itty bitty wrist. "Daddy's watch," you say.

72.366 A little time on the play mat. You actually bat at the hanging toys on it sometimes, maybe by accident, I don't know. Your sister thought maybe you were lonely, so she left her beloved Minnie Mouse to be company for you.

73.366 You've had this Easter basket since you were a tiny baby, and for as long as I can remember, you walk around with it on your head quite often. "Baby Bucket Head," we call you.

74.366 Sitting quietly in the kitchen while Mommy cooks. I wonder what you think as you lie there.

75.366 Daddy brought home roses for Mommy, and one of the stems was broken, so he gave you your first flower. You pushed it up over your nose as far as it would go and took a big sniff. You thought it was very special, and so it was.

76.366 I was changing Baby's diaper, when you wanted to climb up to be with her. As much as you want to be a big helper, you sometimes want to be the baby, too, I think.

77.366 Oh, wee baby who never wants to be laid down, Mommy has oh so much to do and a wild toddler to chase, too. So we've resorted to using the carrier this time around because there is just no other way.
