I had the great privilege of working with Erica and her beautiful family for the first time last year, so when she asked me to photograph her husband's entire family, I of course was pumped. They all did an awesome job, and the kids were all so sweet and polite. Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your family. It was wonderful to meet all of you!

"There is a garden in her eyes, where roses and white lilies flow." - Thomas Campion  113.366 A few days before Mommy had to return to work, we decided to have a favorite family outing: Botanical Conservatory and pizza at a well-loved pizza place downtown. Of course, you missed out on the pizza because you'd much rather partake in a nap.  114.366 At the Botanical Conservatory, you walked up to the rows of flowers, placed your nose inside them and sniffed a big sniff. You really do take time to stop and smell the flowers.  115.366 Doctor? Pianist? You have plenty of time to choose your profession, but I think you'll have a variety of interests and talents to choose from.  116.366 When Daddy's not around, we do naughty things like blow bubbles in the house.   117.366 Big Sissy needed a bath, while Little Sissy took the opportunity for another nap. You like to be together, even if you're not always doing the same things.  118.366 You have had a great interest in playing with these giant lego blocks, but when you can't put them together correctly, you have a major meltdown. It got to the point where we had to take them away for a while, after which you were very good at putting them together and building things and developed a healthy obsession with them. Here you are, struggling with the blocks in dusty light, your hair in absolute chaos, which really fits your personality at that moment.  119.366 Our bananas became brown and mushy, so we made chocolate pecan banana bread (totally healthy, right?). "Mix-a mix-a mix-a!" you quoted Daniel Tiger, followed by picking all of the chocolate chips out with your hands and devouring them before I could take the bowl away. |
