It was such a joy to work with this family for the second time. We went to the same high school where they were high school sweethearts, and they have evolved into such a wonderful family. The kids all did absolutely awesome, real smiles every time, and happiness that shines in every photo. They are a joyful and kind family, and we were lucky enough to get a beautiful golden sunrise. I couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the second round of fall mini sessions. They made it so easy and fun!

Gorgeous family. Happy kids. Parents and kids having fun together. These are the ingredients for a dream session. When families laugh and enjoy being together as much as this one, you can truly see how much they really love each other, and that love shines through in their images.

When my co-worker contacted me for a mini session, I was so excited. She is the sweetest, friendliest woman around, and I loved being able to see her interact with her amazing family. It is such an honor to be invited to peek in on these moments that a family shares. <3

I met this family through a referral from one of my super fave clients who has done such an awesome job of promoting my business. I am so very glad she did refer this family, because they were just wonderful to work with. Their daughter is an absolute doll with the most enviable hair (see below for her jumping photos...I'm totally jealous of the hair!), and she was fun and energetic and sweet. You can tell her mom and dad adore her, and for good reason!

Some of my favorite photos are the ones of her jumping when she wasn't supposed to be. I think it showcases her adorable and lively personality, which is what I love in my own daughter and in photos of her, too. There's a black and white photo at the end of the family. It was supposed to be a photo of just mom and dad, but Little Miss jumped in the shot, and then literally started jumping. It makes me giggle. :) And then she followed it up with a super cute pose with her parents...sometimes you've got to go with the flow during a session, and the kiddos will show you the best shots.

I would love to work with this sweet family again. They're the cutest!
