Toddler sessions are the way I get my workout. But I absolutely love them. Partly because they're a challenge, but partly because they're some of the most rewarding sessions. Mommas of toddlers know these little ornery stages are fleeting and are sometimes the most fun, so catching them on camera is a great way to capture those grins and antics and silly faces. In Connor's case it was sticking out his tongue and doing lots of running! :) He is so adorable and you could tell by that look in his eye that he was planning something. I loved how these turned out because, although they weren't exactly posed shots, they caught the real personality of a little boy, a little boy who likes to blow bubbles and climb walls and run and stick out his tongue. There's much more honesty in a session like that and sometimes are the sessions mommas love the most. ♥

High school sweethearts. Married with 3 beautiful and happy children. Life doesn't get much better than that, right?
I had such a blast catching up with these two high school classmates (Go Bulldogs!) after graduating 13 years ago (I got a little nauseous typing that number....my siblings are right, I'm officially old). This is one of the nicest, happiest families I've ever met, and I loved spending time with them! Some things just don't change....like good people! :) This family kept things moving! They were all wonderful, and even the little one opened up after just a couple of shots....and they were active kids, which is awesome! They were climbing trees and exploring the park, which led to really great photos! And these kids, all three, are just stunningly beautiful. Mom and Dad are just going to hide them away until they're 20 years old because everyone will want to date them! :)
